EPCOT is a beautiful park during the day. At Night it becomes even more magical! We recently headed over for a day trip to the Food & Wine Festival. We grabbed a spot to watch Illuminations at 8:00, unknown to us the show was scheduled for 10:00 PM, not the usual 9:00. I took the chance to run around and get some pictures.

I had a great time running around getting these pics, hope you enjoyed them! Thanks!

My name is John Peters, I’m co-host of The Weekly Pint Podcast. I’m going to give writing a blog a shot. I grew up in Orlando, and other than an enlistment in the Navy, lived my entire life in Central Florida. As a kid my local park was The Magic Kingdom. My teenage jobs were at Wet-n-Wild and at WDW. I was lucky enough to attend the soft openings for EPCOT, Animal Kingdom and Universal Studios.
We currently have annual passes to WDW and Universal. Although I’ve been a Disney fan my entire life, it wasn’t until we bought DVC that I really geeked out. We’ve stayed at most of the on-site Disney resorts and even stayed over at Universal a couple of times.
What I’d like to do with this blog is share some of the information that I have gathered through 45 years of theme park attendance. Some of the topics that I plan on covering are best beer deals on property, touring the parks in an ECV, doing character M&Gs as an adult, things to be aware of before you move to Florida, touring the F&W fest, and hidden spots.
If you have any ideas or feedback, please send me a message! Thanks! John

John Peters checks in live from the Epcot International Food & Wine Festival, Brewer’s Collection kiosk, located between the Germany Pavilion and the Africa Outpost.

John had the Radeberger Zwickel Pilsner and the Hacker-Pschorr Hefe Weise. The kiosk now has a beer flight available. And in addition, they have added Norbetus back to the options.
Beer flights now consist of three beers, instead of four. Each beer is a 4 oz. pour for $4.00, individually.
A flight of three is $9.00 (a pretty good deal, since that’s a 25% discount). You can substitute the Norbetus for any of the three that come standard with the flight.
During the podcast, his wife brought him a Schöfferhofer Zitrone Weizen-Mix. And John also talked about trying three beers from the Craft Beers Marketplace (located in the Odyssey Center): Concrete Beach Stiltsville Pilsner, 3 Daughters Bimini Twist IPA, and the Shipyard Midnight Snack Milk Stout.
