DisTalk Radio’s Weekly Pint Podcast – Episode 17 – What (Else) Is In the Fridge?

In this episode Dave and John open their collective Fridge and talk about a few beers. John tries Abita Brewing Co. Purple Haze while Dave quaffs one of his seasonal favorites, Bell’s Hopslam.

The guys then run the train right off the rails and talk about the “Bloat Factor” in full flavor American Lagers vs. their Light counterparts. Just a heads up – Dave gets a bit pretentious and Beer Snobby!

La Fin Du Monde (Unibroue)

One of my absolute favorite things about EPCOT is the unique food and drink, all conveniently located in one park.  Seeing as my name is Beersolo, I of course prefer the beer!  A great choice is a La Fin Du Monde.  It’s a yeasty beer with a  nice floral aftertaste, it’s also a kick in the pants (9% abv).

There are several places on Disney property to find this beer including The Top of the World Lounge, The Brown Derby Restaurant and Brown Derby Lounge, Le Cellier and my favorite spot the Canadian Beer Cart!

Next time you’re at EPCOT give this great beer a shot!  Cheers!

Today we come to you ON LOCATION from the new Epcot Festival of the Arts, where we follow John as he walks around World Showcase and discusses the first day of the Festival. We eventually get into some beer talk, looking at three nitro beers – Breckenridge Nitro Vanilla Porter, Young’s Double Chocolate Stout, and Florida’s own Three Daughters Strawberry Blonde. John also teases us with a La Fin du Monde, and Dave tries a Sierra Nevada Beer Camp colabo-brew Table Beer while staring at snow from his Pennsylvanian abode.

Fun fact: we go long!
